Washington Square Commons Comes to Indianapolis

Construction on Thompson Thrift Development’s new multi-tenant retail project, Washington Square commons, is underway. The retail center is to be anchored by Vitamin Shoppe and Aspen Dental.
The project is located on a one acre lot at 10110 E Washington St. on the east side of Indianapolis at the main entrance to Washington Square Mall. The site was formerly home to Denny’s who occupied the site for over 30 years. The former Denny’s building is being demolished to make way for the new shopping center. Mark Perlstein of SiteHawk Retail Real Estate represented both tenants. Ashlee Boyd of Thompson Thrift directed the acquisition of the project and represented the Landlord on both leases.
Thompson Thrift Construction and DIG Architecture + Planning won the bid to construct and design the 9,000 square foot center, which is scheduled for completion in October 2010.
