TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Thompson Thrift Construction has signed a contract with Morris Manufacturing to construct a 40,500 square foot pre-engineered metal building. The new structure is a freestanding addition to the existing 61,356 square foot facility located at 1015 East Mechanic Street in Brazil, IN.
Morris Manufacturing is a fourth-generation, family owned, manufacturer of high-precision, close-tolerance machined metal parts for a wide range of industries. Construction is scheduled to begin January 2010 and be completed by April 2010 with an estimated project cost of $1.2 million.
Thompson Thrift was selected as the general contractor in a competitive bid against five other local and regional contractors. Thompson Thrift is a full-service real estate development and construction company with offices in Carmel and Terre Haute, Ind.
