Thompson Thrift adds Grocer to line up at Lima Marketplace

CARMEL, Ind. — Thompson Thrift has signed a lease with ALDI at it’s Lima Marketplace retail development in Fort Wayne, Ind.
ALDI will lease 17,851 square feet in the main retail building in Lima Marketplace. The lease is for a period of 15 years at 10007 Lima Road. Susannah Gershman of Thompson Thrift represented the landlord, and Jim Abel, Grubb & Ellis | Harding Dahm & Company represented the tenant.
ALDI is a leader in the international grocery retailing industry, serving Europe, the USA and Australia. With over 1,000 stores in the US, consumers enjoy up to 50% savings on 90% of their weekly shopping needs.
Lima Marketplace is situated at the southwest corner of Lima Road and Dupont Road adjacent to the Wal-Mart SuperCenter. Lima Marketplace is home to several national tenants including: PetSmart, Office Depot, Dollar Tree, Sherwin Williams, America’s Best Contacts and Eyglasses, GameStop, Arby’s, McDonald’s, My Menu, Centennial Wireless and now ALDI.
