CARMEL, Ind. — Thompson Thrift started the construction of a facility for Kiddie Academy childcare education center, a national franchise headquartered in Abingdon, Maryland. The local franchisee is Teffenie Davies of Fishers. The 10,000 square foot facility will be located in Geist Landing of Fishers at the northeast corner of 116th Street and Olio Road. Construction started in mid-July and is scheduled to be complete in November. Kiddie Academy will be located north of the 14,040 square-foot multi-tenant retail building, which Thompson Thrift construction recently completed.
