October 13, 2008

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Thompson Thrift Construction was recently honored at the 21st Annual Associated Builders and Contractors Indiana Merit Shop Construction Awards Ceremony. The company received the Award of Honor in the Commercial Under $3 million category for the Fore Seasons Golf Complex Project.

ABC of Indiana annually sponsors the Excellence in Construction award program that recognizes the quality and diversity of Merit Shop construction in Indiana. A panel of judges, consisting of a cross-section of the construction industry, evaluates each entry on constructability, safety, ABC member involvement and project significance.

The development included construction of three main structures: a 12,304-square-foot building that houses a restaurant and bar, an indoor miniature black light golf course, golf pro shop, arcade area and two private party rooms, a 4,964-square-foot maintenance building and Indiana’s only climate-controlled, automated double-deck driving range.

Thompson Thrift is a full-service real estate development and construction company with offices in Carmel and Terre Haute, Ind.
