TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Inc. magazine has named Thompson Thrift as one of the Top Fastest-Growing Private Real Estate Companies in the nation.
Thompson Thrift, a full-service real estate development and construction company with offices in Terre Haute and Carmel, Ind., ranked No. 46 on the national list with three-year sales growth of 106 percent. This is the second year for Thompson Thrift to make the magazine’s annual list moving up 47 positions from last year’s ranking of No. 93.
“Our company boasts an extensive network of real estate and tenant relationships that allow us to experience continued growth,” said Thompson Thrift President Paul Thrift. “Additionally, as a developer, we are able to offer construction and design services all under one roof giving us a true advantage in today’s competitive commercial real estate marketplace.”
Also, for the second year in a row, Thompson Thrift was included on the Inc. 5,000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the country. The Inc. 5,000 offers a comprehensive listing of the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy.
“Our second annual Inc. 5000 continues the most ambitious project in business journalism,” said Inc. 5,000 Project Manager Jim Melloan. “The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivalled portrait of young underreported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth.”
The 2008 Inc. 5,000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2007, and have held at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004, and $2 million in 2007.
