Terre Haute,  IN —  Thompson Thrift Development has announced the signing of three new tenants to the growing mixed-use development, South Pointe Crossing.

Starbucks Coffee Company, the U.S. Armed Forces Career Center and Mid America Clinical Laboratories will all occupy space in the project located at the crossroads of US Highway 41 and Seventh Street.

Starbucks will occupy 2,212 square feet of space in the development’s outlot at 4900 S. US Highway 41. The coffee shop is expected to open in mid-August. Starbucks Coffee Company is the leading retailer, roaster and brand of specialty coffee in the world. In addition to its more than 4,100 retail locations in North America, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim, Starbucks sells coffee and tea products through its specialty operations, including its online store at Starbucks.com.

“Thompson Thrift has been a great partner for Starbucks as we pursue our expansion plans,” said Matt Jameson, store development manager for Starbucks.

The Armed Forces Career Center has leased a 1,891-square-foot location at 4795 S. Seventh St. with an anticipated early to mid-July grand opening.

Mid America Clinical Laboratories is also expected to open in early to mid-July in a 1,088 square-foot location at 4797 S. Seventh St. Mid America Clinical Laboratories, LLC is a joint venture company owned by and in partnership with Community Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital, Quest Diagnostics and CoLab. It is the largest clinical laboratory in Indiana completing over 4.5 million tests per year with more than 30 Patient Service Centers throughout central Indiana.

Located in the heart of Terre Haute’s south side shopping district, South Pointe Crossing has 1,891 square feet of available office space at 4799 S. Seventh St. Retail space is also available with 1,309 square feet at 4818 S. US Highway 41 and 1,313 square feet at 4830 S. US Highway 41.
