Carmel, IN — Thompson Thrift recently signed a lease with L.A. Fitness at Cool Creek Village.

The fitness club will occupy a 45,000-square-foot freestanding building to be constructed at 2700 E. 146th St. The lease is for a period of 15 years. The landlord, Thompson Thrift, represented itself, and Scott Gray of Sitehawk represented the tenant. Construction is scheduled to begin this month with L.A. Fitness expected to open in the fall of 2008.

Located on East 146th Street, Cool Creek Village is a 79,800-square-foot mixed-use development project serving the Carmel/Westfield trade area. Thompson Thrift is nearing completion on construction of a two-story, 34,800-square-foot building at the site. Once completed, the first floor will provide retail opportunities, and the second floor will house offices including Thompson Thrift Development currently located at 90 Executive Drive, Suite C in Carmel.
