This position will assist team members in the preconstruction process for both commercial and multi-family projects. Our preconstruction process begins with schematic design and budgeting and includes design, estimating and bidding thru proposals and contracts with final turnover to our Project Managers for construction. Requires widely diversified knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management). A college degree in Construction Management or a related field is highly preferred. Interested candidates must be willing to relocate to Terre Haute, Indiana.
This position will assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, contracts and presentations. Teamworking with Preconstruction managers, stakeholders, civil engineers, architects, and owners. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment as an agressive self starter.
Good computer skills; Timberline Estimating Experience a plus, Suretrak Scheduling, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
4-year college degree in Construction Technology or related field and have experience with commercial construction.
LEED Certification a plus.
